He is survived by his wife (Deloris Salt), three children (Pat, Gord, and Leanne Salt), and three grandchildren (Matthew and Megan Salt, and Maya Simon) as well as two stepchildren (Angela Hobbins of Reno and Christopher K. Hobbins of Mississippi) and three step-grandchildren.
