He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Christena; and his siblings, Ray, Russ, Sid, Frank and Olive.
He is survived by: his children, Gary (Nancy), Roger (Shelley) and Linda Schmid (Garry); and his granddaughters, Karin, Jennifer Schmid, Megan, Mariah and Amber McKenzie.
