He was predeceased by: his former wife Kim Pankrat; his sons, Tyler James Pankrat and Mathew David Pankrat; his father Henry Pankrat (Pat); and his brother Michael Pankrat.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Lapointe; his stepsons, Dan Demchuk and Jordan Demchuk (Pam Nociar); his granddaughter Sophia; and his siblings, Ric Pankrat (Deb), Kathy Tidlund (John) and Sarah Randell (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Foster's Garden Chapel (3220 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M3A5).
