As Yuk Quey departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Yuk Quey may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Yuk Quey leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wing Cheong; and her parents, Ton Pon and Wong Shee Pon. She is survived by: her children, Carlos (Yuh Yi), George (Sandra), Jaime (Jenny), Alfredo (Shelley) and Maria (Rick). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leyden's Funeral Home (304 18 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2S0C3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Queen's Park Cemetery (3219 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M3A6).
