He is survived by : his wife Jo-Ann (Zeer); his child Jarret (Sara); his granddaughter Caroline (Kay Lea); his parents, Gerald Schnell and Betty Schnell; and his siblings, Mike (Della), Brad, Gwen Torie (Keith), Pam Rutledge (Jim), Ken (Joanne) and Phil (Charo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
