Ada Schimelfenig Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Schimelfenig in Camrose, Alberta, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. V. Ellis and Mabel Ellis; her husband Sighart Schimelfenig; and her sisters, Hazel LaRoque, Violet Rewerts, Sylvia Lepine, Nora Winter, Ethel Eveneshen and Marjorie Fisher.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Schimelfenig (Karen Hult); her grandson Allan (Jammie); her son Kevin Schimelfenig; her grandchildren, Jordon (Angela), Shaylene Graves, Tristen (Brittany) and Samara; her daughter Wendy Martin (Ken); her grandchildren, Ryan (Kristina), Nikki (Jay), Andrew (Alisa) and Christi (Jesse); her daughter Carolyn Jabusch (Kim); her grandchildren, Carleah Gotchia (Matt) and Jessica Anderson; her daughter Dixie Farkash (Roger); her grandchildren, Becky (Ryan), Wade (Breanna) and Brandi (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Wilder, Floyd, Lillith, Iris, Prairie, Oden, Roman, Charlie, Felix, Billie-Lynn, Axel, Elly, Gunner, Elise, Serenity, Everly, Xavier, Ava, Maya and Daxton.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Church (4708 50 Ave, Lloydminster, AB T9V0M2).
Donations in memory of Ada may be made to Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
