As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alfred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Amalia; his siblings, Waldemar, Anne Berkholtz and Gert Zucht; and his nephew Dwayne Berkholtz.
He is survived by: his brother Alvin (Edie); and his special friend Helga Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (11 1 Ave S, Hay Lakes, AB T0B1W0).
