He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Kerr and Jennie Kerr; his former life partner Miriam Ellis Gould; and his siblings, Mary, Shirley and Harvey.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Marie; his children, Janet Kerr, Roger Kerr (Ardelle) and Bruce Kerr (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Kathleen Riggins (Rocky), Jennifer Kerr, Victoria Pagnutti (Dan), Emilie Pollard (Kevin) and Jesse Kerr (Malinka); his great grandchildren, Eddie, George Riggins, Artie and Remy Pollard; his brother Walter Kerr; his stepsons, Tony and David Klassen (Heather); and his stepgrandson Brenden Klassen.
