He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Selmer Rude and Clara Rude; his wife Alice; his daughter-in-law Joy-Leigh (Rod); and his siblings, Stanley (Helga), Viola (Desmond Lien) and Milton (Gladys).
He is survived by: his children, Ken (Valerie), Rodney, Curtis (Dorothy), Diane (Colin MacLellan), Dennis (Ardell) and Carol Dawson. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church (5601 Enevold Dr, Camrose, AB T4V4N4).
Memorial donations may be made to the World Mission Prayer League, CLBI or to the Bethany Lutheran Church.
