It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Russell Smith of Camrose, Alberta, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cyril Russell Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Dr. Devon Smith; and his siblings, Raymond, Laurence, Winnifred Nelson, June Andrews and Doreen Husband.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith; and his children, Melanie Zeluf (Randy), Mike Smith, Heather Barnstable (Carey), John Smith (Holly) and David Smith. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Solid Rock Lutheran Church (4501 52 Ave, Camrose, AB T4V0W5).
