She was predeceased by: her husband Wilford Thompson; her former husband Marvin Olesen; her daughter Nancy Murray; her grandchildren, Rod Murray and Amanda Streich; and her sister Florie David.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Olesen (Marilyn) of Camrose, Kathy Streich (Ron) of Camrose and Steven Thompson of Camrose; and her sisters, Freida Ness of Camrose, Tina Keeble of Edmonton and Margaret Nisi (Rocky) of Calgary. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
