She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Pointkoski; her daughter Marilyn Olson; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Pointkoski; her sister Lena Bowal; and her parents, Joseph Kushnerik and Annie Kushnerik.

She is survived by: her children, Garry Pointkoski (Alora Nelson) of Camrose, Ken Pointkoski (Debi) of Winnipeg, MB and Joan Burnett of Edgeley, SK; her son-in-law Gary Olson of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Jason Pointkoski and Tara Holowka (Mark); her great grandchildren, Emmett and Adele Holowka; her siblings, John Kushnerik (Wanda) of Camrose and Mickey Kushnerik (Irene) of Killam; her extended family Kim Downey (Matt); and also Keira.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Emma's memory may be made to St. Stanislaus Cemetery; St. Francis Xavier Building Fund; or to a charity of one's choice.
