He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Loewen and Marge Loewen; and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Chris Loewen (Bonnie), Jennifer Forth (Ian) and Ben Loewen; his foster son Ryan Matchee; his grandchildren, Jessica Loewen (Zane Hardes), Emily Dunn (Tyler), Thomas and Gustav Forth; and his sisters, Lori Lewis (Brock) and Rita Longclaws. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
