He was predeceased by: his wife Erma; his parents, John and Susan; and his siblings, John, Linda, Gloria, June and Joan.

He is survived by: his children, Diane (Bert), Brenda (Mike) and Ron (Randa); his grandchildren, Jason (Trish), Amanda (Don) and Jeremey (Glyness); his great grandchildren, Ashton, Braydon, Jocelyn and Devin; and his brothers, Doug and Jim (Connie).
