Gladys Esther Laing Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2025, at the age of 87, Gladys Esther Laing of Camrose, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gladys Esther had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Gladys Esther may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Walter Sroka; and her parents, Lars Jacobson and Josie Jacobson. She is survived by: her husband Jock; and her children, Gene Sroka (Karen), Roy Sroka (Daniel), Vern Sroka (Louise), Randy Sroka (Maryann) and Debbie Laing (Morgan Moyer). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren great-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
