She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; her daughter Susie Bjornson; and her brothers, Clifford Whatley, Arthur Whatley and Gordon Whatley.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Lavoie (Linda), Wendy Scharmann, Rick Lavoie and Robert Lavoie; her son-in-law Warren Bjornson; and her sister Margaret McLaughlin. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
