It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Julius Bauer of Camrose, Alberta, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius and Lydia; his brothers, Lloyd, Edgar and Kurt Bauer; and his parents-in-law, Reuben and Pauline Albrecht.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bauer of Camrose; his children, Lyle "Cameron" Bauer of Vauxhall, Kelly Bauer (Monique) of Camrose, Tracy Benoit (Dale) of Vegreville and Chrystal Bauer of Sherwood Park; his grandchildren, Austin Bauer, Jackson Bauer, Amber Davis (Danton), Brooke Comfort (Cole), Chanelle Bauer, Brittany Pulyk (Ryan), Rylan Benoit, Aaron Neyrinck, Brontae Whitten and Ryker Whitten; and his great grandchildren, Addilyn Davis, Ariyah Davis, Dawson Davis, Madyson Pulyk, Ashtyn Pulyk and Kaydence Pulyk.
