He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Gail Olesen (Ole) of Camrose, Susan Niven of New Norway and Kathy Grice (Bob) of New Norway; and his brothers, Clifford of Camrose, David of Edson and Beverly (Donna) of Oliver, B. C. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
