Jerome Leibel Obituary
We announce the death of Jerome Leibel of Camrose, Alberta, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 88. Jerome will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Leibel; his son Douglas Leibel; his parents, Peter Leibel and Magdelena Leibel; his siblings, Raymond Leibel, Bernard Leibel, Sebastian Leibel and Noella Ackerman; and his granddaughter Jan Leibel.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Leibel (Lois), Thomas Leibel (Tracey) and Joan Naslund (Gordon); his daughter-in-law Teresa Leibel; his sister Lorraine Penton; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Leibel. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 6:30 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (3605 50 St, Camrose, AB T4V5E6). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Jerome's memory may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Church Building Fund (https://sfx.caedm.ca), St. Mary's Auxiliary, or to a charity of one's choice.
