He was predeceased by: his former wife Lorraine; his wife Adeline; his daughter Gaylene; and his siblings, Alec Wight and Margaret Densmore.
He is survived by: his children, David Wight (Maureen) of Outlook, Laurel Harrison-Edge (Peter) of Fernie, BC, Mark Wight (Kjirsti) of Hughenden and Nelson Wight (Glenda Newsted) of Nelson, BC; his grandchildren, Virginia, Benjamin (Paige), Alex and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Alistair and Winnifred; and his sister Lois Lord of Calgary.
