He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Panas and Anna Panas; his parents-in-law, John and Rose Marko; his siblings, Paul and Helen; his siblings-in-law, Theresa and Harry Balko; and his grandson Andrew.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, Laurie and Marcel; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Hercules and Leo (Laurie). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
