Joseph Kauffman Obituary

Joseph touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Joseph’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Inez Lutz and Ellen Lauber. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Mike (Stephanie), Sherri-Lynn Wenger (Ryan) and Jon (Jacqueline); and his siblings, Don (Dolores), Betty Stauffer and Grace Good (Ed). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Salem Mennonite Church.
