He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Hamilton and Pearl Hamilton; his wife Jean; his children, Brian and Connie; his son-in-law Dwayne Lassu; and his granddaughters, Andrea Vavrek and Jackie Lassu.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Lassu, Terry Hamilton (Ellie) and Colleen Hamilton (Art Duffley). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
