He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his sisters, Christine and Josephine; his parents, Christopher and Mary; and his son-in-law Robert Foote.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Foote of Edmonton and George Lepard (Charlene Kroetsch) of Camrose; his grandchildren, Jamie Lepard (Rena) of California, Tyler Foote (Melissa) of Edmonton, Jordan Foote (Vanessa) of Edmonton, Briana Streich (Brad) of Camrose and Clayton Kroetsch of Killam; and his brother Murray Lepard of Ontario.
