She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Vornbrock and Hanna Vornbrock; her siblings, Otto Vornbrock, Gregor Vornbrock (Elizabeth), Christine Lohner (Lawrence), Madeline Piro (Joe), Bernard Vornbrock and Ermalinda Block (Lyman); and her siblings-in-law, John Kroetsch, Linus Kroetsch, Arnold Bendfeld, Loretta Kroetsch, Anne Vanslyke (Clifford), Edna Hauser (Ken) and Irene Kroetsch.

She is survived by: her spouse Edward Kroetsch; her children, Gilbert and Sharon Smith (Noel); her granddaughter Jodi Gurr (Clayton); her great grandchildren, Colten and Kyle Gurr; and her siblings-in-law, Rita Bendfeld and Leander Kroetsch (Phylis). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and treasured friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
