She was predeceased by: her former husband Erling Sand; her husband Adam Nitz; and her children-in-law, Dallas Gill, Charles Mathews and Pat Sand.

She is survived by: her children, Harlan Sand, Sharon Gill (Reinhold), Dorothea Mathews, Ardis Granger (Marvin), Leola Rogers (Don) and Calvin Sand; and her stepson Gordon Nitz (Lynn). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
