He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Steil. He is survived by: his close friend Shannon Potter; his children, Shaleen Potter, Kristie O'Riordan (Shea) and Vance Potter; his mother Bernice Steil; and his sister Shelly Steil (Greg Morrison). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
