She was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her grandson Peter; her parents, Martin Meadahl and Mable Meadahl; her brothers, Budd, Gordon (Gladys) and Dennis (Joyce); and her cousin Glen Hovland.
She is survived by: her children, David of Camrose, Denise Sand (Wayne) of Calgary and Eldon of Calgary; and her siblings, Doug Meadahl (Judy) of Sherwood Park and Ardis Peterson (Dennis) of Camrose. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Ruby 's memory may be made to the Unit 2 - Palliative Care St. Mary's Hospital or to the Hospice Society of Camrose and District or to the Camrose United Church .
