He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Spence; his parents, Ethel Spence and Alfred Spence (Slim); and his siblings, Mildred Pickrell, Evelyn Capp and Allan Spence.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Spence (Tim Lynch) and Vicki Spence; his grandchildren, Dustin Dey and Danielle Dey; and his great grandchildren, Cali Gabruck-Dey, Ryder Dey and Evander Dey.
