He was predeceased by: his brothers, Don, Richard and Jack; and his parents, Christina and Edward.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gary (Adele), Dennis (Eileen), Mark (Arlene) and Denise (Larry); his sons, Tony (Tara), Trevor (Jamie), Grant and Chad; his wife Karen; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Evan, Julie, Dakota, Trayton and Xavier; Marinda (Darcy), Cassie, Robyn (Tanya), Sharmane (Cory) and Shelena (Tracy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
