He is survived by: his significant other Kathryn; his mother Judith Sokolowski; his stepfather Rick Sokolowski; his sister Christal; his brother-in-law Pierre Myner; his parents-in-law, Brian and Mary Jane Farrell; and his siblings-in-law, Stephanie and Michael Thrasher. He is also survived by extended family members, dear friends.
As chair of The Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF), he helped advance literacy and skilled trades programs across Calgary communities.
