He was predeceased by: his father Vincent Maruzs Sr.; his grandparents, Vincent, Lydia Maruzs, Golsby and Jessie McCracken; and his uncles, Fred Maruzs and Don Langley.

He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Maruzs; his children, Ericka Anderson (Travis) and Logan Maruzs (Jessie); his granddaughter Alaina Anderson; and his sisters, Sandra Schneider (Rob), Karen Wells (Simon) and Kimberly Stuckless (Rick). He is also survived by numerous other relatives, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to S.T.A.R.S.
