She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Hanna Wenger and Joseph Thadolb Wenger; her husbands, George Mahieux and Robert Aebli; her son Joseph Mahieux; her grandson Joey Mahieux; and her brothers, Jim and Russell Wenger.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Mahieux-Bone, Ray Mahieux (Terry) and Wade Aebli; her grandchildren, George Mahieux (Melanie), Kristie Mahieux, Stacy Benson (Jason), Chad Mahieux (Nicole), Megan Aebli, Micheal Poxton, Meaghan Pounder (Mat) and Shawn Flannery; and her siblings, Margaret Yurkish, Cathy Pidhirney (Don) and Emmet Wenger (Marie). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church (13126 21 Ave, Blairmore, AB T0K0E0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
