It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Yakimetz (Caroline, Alberta), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose Yakimetz and Nicholas Yakimetz; and his fiancée Judy Bott. He is survived by : his daughters, Teralea Yakimetz (Chris), Tanisyn Blair (David) and Carlene Soetaert (Matthew); and his siblings, David Yakimetz (Bernie), Caroline Preston (Alfred) and Lori Bolin (Pat). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren.
