He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wren (Curly) and Irene Wren; and his sister Frances Neilsen. He is survived by: his daughter Shelley Wren Orlesky; his granddaughters, Shaelynn Fiddler and Juliana Orlesky; his nephew Loran Collison (Danyle); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyle, Ryland and Jordis; and his close friend Mel Neilsen.
