Andrea Schmick Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrea Schmick (Carstairs, Alberta), born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on April 1, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrea Schmick to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sam, Ada Schmick, Don and Clara Rae; and her uncle Grant.

She is survived by: her son Vance Anderson of Airdrie; her significant other Tony Moran of Airdrie; her parents, Paul Schmick and Judy Schmick of Olds; her sister Paula (Joel); her nephews, Kayde and Jace; her brother Scott; her nieces, Eden and Payton; her sister-in-law Andrea (Kurt); her nephews, Caleb and Owen; and her father-in-law Joe Moran (Laura). She is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Andrea's life may do so through a donation to STARS Air Ambulance or the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation in her memory.
