He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Brittain and Murray Brittain; and his siblings, Hartley, Ken, Keith, Muriel and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hehr; his children, Carol (Chris), Brian (Karen) and Bruce (Shannon); his grandsons, Andrew, Eric, Anthony, Evan and Alex; and his sister-in-law Shirley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
