We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2019, at the age of 88, Eeva-Liisa (Matilainen) Lucas (Carstairs, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her sister Hilkka Matilainen of Kuopio; her sons, Pekka (Loretta) of Carstairs, Mark of Carstairs and Francis of Carstairs; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Justyn (Kayla), Steven, Phillip (Sara), Rebecca (Randal), Tyler (Justine), Michael (Jannay), Melissa (Tyler) and Derrek (Jessica). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Inter Pares (her favorite charity), 221 Laurier Avenue E.Ottawa, ON K1N 6P1.
