Leona Schielke Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Leona Schielke in Carstairs, Alberta is shared. Leona, born on December 9, 1929, passed away on June 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Leona will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Leona by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Leona is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Leona’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Hoffman and Mary Hoffman; her husband Harold Schielke of Peter's Lutheran Church; and her sisters, Ardella and Irene.
She is survived by: her children, Steve (Denyse), Stan (Sharon), Karen (Harry) and Sidney (Lorraine); and her brother Lorne Hoffman (Marion). She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
