She was predeceased by: her husband Murray Carmen Downie; her daughters, Myrna Louise and Roxanne Marie; and her parents, Alfred Joseph and Louise Josephine Masson.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Downie, Martin Downie (Gail) of Carseland, Corey Downie (Diane) of Airdrie, Alberta, Bernice Downie of Rochester, Michelle Kobol (Bob) of Crossfield, Colette Herman (Darryl) of Carstairs and Sandra Schmick (James) of Carstairs. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great- grandchildren, extended family members and close friends.
