It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Cherniwchan of Caslan, Alberta, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Cherniwchan; her sons, Melvin Cherniwchan and Larry Cherniwchan; her parents, Anna Wolansky and Nikolai Wolansky; and her siblings, Mary, Lily, Nancy, Florence, John, Bill and Harry.
She is survived by: her sons, Grant "Wayne" Cherniwchan (Betty) and Kenneth Cherniwchan; her daughters-in-law, Barbara Cherniwchan and Linda Cherniwchan; her grandchildren, Chrystal, Erin, Ashley, Allison, Dustin, Natasha, Bradley, Chalene, Sandi and Evan; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Naomi, Hudson, Nash, Gabriella, Michaela, Grant, Landon, Madison, Brody, Jackson, Chase, Hunter and Palmer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
