She was predeceased by: her husband Terry Johnson; her parents, Joseph Silbernagel and Margaret Silbernagel; her brothers, Kenneth Silbernagel and Gregory Silbernagel; and her nephew Joseph Hill.

She is survived by: her close friend Daniel Noppen; and her sister Amy Nielsen. She is also survived by nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family, and numerous friends.
