As we bid Louise farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Louise is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mavis Petrie and Jim Petrie; and her brothers, Danny and Rod. She is survived by: her husband Don. She is also survived by three children, and nine grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Parish, to support upkeep of the church, or to the Chauvin Museum Society, which works diligently to preserve the history of the community Louise held so dear.
