He was predeceased by: his parents, Albini Roy and Yvonne Roy; his brother Lionel; and his sister-in-law Therese Cote. He is survived by: his pet Piteau; his wife Anita; his stepchildren, Maureen, Kevin, Robert and Joanne; his grandchildren, Camille, Caitlin, Cameron, Colleen, Duncan, Mila, Jacob and Ella; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucille, Aline, Susanne, Claire, Bob, Gil and Bernard; Chauvin.

Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, the Roy Family will be having a private family Funeral Mass on June 6, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Chauvin, Alberta with Father Moses SAC Officiating.
