He was predeceased by : his son Darren Baptist; his parents, Blanche and Verne; his parents-in-law, Fred and Hilda Elhard; his brothers, Marvin, Mert and Del; and his niece Linda.

He is survived by : his children, Sherri Tetz and Duane Baptist (Kim); his grandchildren, Brendan Tetz and Rachel Tetz; and his significant other Sharon Baptist (Elhard). He is also survived by his loving wife, daughter, youngest son, nieces and nephews.
