With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Garry Bewernick of Chestermere, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Garry left this world on September 19, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Werner Bewernick and Nellie Bewernick; his siblings, Harold Bewernick (Liz) and Debbie Oliver (Jamie); his wife Beverly; his children, Christopher (Julia), Jordan (Dorothy), Justin, Sydney and Brayden; his grandchildren, Olivia, Grace, Wesley and Georgia; and his mother-in-law Elsie.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Centre Street Church ~ Central Campus (3900 2 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E9C1).
In keeping Garry's vision alive we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Garry's name to Youth Unlimited, Focus on the Family Canada, and Camp Chestermere.
