He was predeceased by: his parents, Lina and Frederich; and his former wife Betty Patberg. He is survived by: his sister Inge Heinrich; his nieces, Anette Tschirsch and Susanne Koch; and his children, Kimberly Vejvoda (Tom), Lisa Blyth (Alec), David Patberg (Melissa) and Jennifer Draxlir (Isaac). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Zentner Funeral Homes (4079 1 St W, Claresholm, AB T0L0T0).
