With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Mabel King of Claresholm, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Linda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Linda. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank King and Gladys King; and her children, Elvis Saunders (Corrina), Calvin Saunders, Wally Saunders (Abbi), Shawn Saunders (Amanda), Colinda Burrell (Brad) and Clyde Dawe (Amanda). She was also cherished by youngest of ten siblings, growing up with four sisters and six brothers.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to spend time with loved ones, enjoy the beauty of nature, and never underestimate the power of a good laugh—just as Linda would have wanted.
