He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Magdalena Elder and Louis Elder; his siblings, Jerry and Donna; his nephews, Craig and Deon; his children, Magdalena and Louis Elder of Lethbridge, Alberta.; his wife Donna Elder; his children, Deborah Elder, Nancy Fitzgerald and Rob Elder; his grandchildren, Makenzie, Kelton, Izabella, Mannix, Annalise, Merrick, Sierra and Hailey Marie Rose; and his siblings, Jean, Edith, Diane, Jim, Doug and Phyllis. He was also cherished by his great-grandchildren.
