With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Karen Burton of Claresholm, Alberta, born in Dixonville, Alberta, who passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Sorensen and Ruth Sorensen; and her brothers, Ted and Allan. She is survived by : her siblings, Paul, Linda and Elaine; her son Doug; her granddaughter Layne (Shawna Burton); her daughter Catherine (Todd); and her grandsons, Max and Finn Buhmiller.
